Siege hacker against Sony: stolen data from a million Internet

The Japanese group reported today of a possible attack on its digital platformSonyPictures.com movies. From mid-April, hacers groups have stolen data from more than 100 million users of its various Web services.

The Japanese group Sony said today investigating a possible new attack by"hackers" against his SonyPictures.com movies digital platform, which could have provided access to personal data of nearly a million users.

A Sony spokesman confirmed that there is an ongoing process to investigate the new case, which occurs after groups of hackers stole data from mid-April more than 100million users of its various Web services.

The group of "hackers" Lulzsec U.S. claimed responsibility for the latest attack online,that would have occurred this morning, just hours after the company announced the restoration of its network of videogame PlayStation Network (PSN).

This new attack against the online service of Sony films would have allowed access toany personal information that the company would not have encryption Japan, according Lulzsec.

The local agency Kyodo said that "hackers" may have stolen passwords, email addresses and birthdates of about one million users.

The attack marks a new episode in the supposed "crusade" that started months agoby some group of hackers against the Japanese electronics giant.

The wave of "cyber" is another setback for Sony, which in May announced a net loss of 259,600 million yen (2,250 million) in fiscal year 2010, after being seriously affected by the impact of the earthquake and tsunami of 11 March.
